Central Telegraph launches media centre

Svyazinvest-backed Russian service provider Central Telegraph has launched a media centre product combining access to the internet and IPTV, according to local reports.

The new service provides access to HDTV and video-on-demand as well as music and home media and provides access to the internet via the TV.

Central Telegraph CEO Igor Zabolotny unveiled the device at the CSTB conference and expo in Moscow. The company has offered IPTV services under the QWERTY.TV brand since 2006. Middleware for the new platform is being provided by CTI.
