TTC wins regional cable TV licence

Russian telco TransTeleCom’s (TTC) regional subsidiary TTC South-East has been awarded a licence to provide cable TV services in the cities of Voronezh, Belgorod, Kursk, Lipetsk, Penza, Saratov and Tambov and surrounding areas.

The licence, awarded by media and telecoms regulator Roskomnadzor, is for five years. TTC South-East director-general Yevgeny Shevchenko said the licence would enable to company to meet demand for TV services in the region.
