Belgacom TV is to add three new channels to its TV Everywhere offering.
Subscribers to the Belgian telco’s IPTV service will from tomorrow be able to view content from Belgian channels VT4, VIJFtv and Ketnet on PCs, laptops, smartphones and tablets, taking the total number of channels on the service to 24.
According to Belgacom, some 250,000 customers have downloaded its TV Everywhere application since the service was launched in July last year. The service is currently available free of charge, pending a commercial launch. As well as viewing the content at home, users can access the channels on the service from 500,000 Fon WiFi hotspots or via the Proximus 3G network.
