Over 70% of respondents, who were based in the UK, said that they watch TV while browsing the internet or using another device.
Some 47% said they interact with friends on social media sites while viewing linear TV and 52% used the internet to find out more about the show while viewing.
Over 40% of respondents said that they watch online video content at the same time as watching TV and 35% said that they watch two or more full programmes simultaneously.
