France 24 is now available in 245 million households, the news broadcaster said.
The company, which operates three channels, has extended its reach by an additional 10 million households since the turn of the year.
Recent deals in western Europe include in Italy, where its French-language channel is available via Canale Italia on the country’s DTT network. In Spain, the French version of the channel is now available on R Telecom’s IPTV and cable networks. France 24 has also signed recent deals with Eisa in Finland and Waoo in Denmark.
In Russia, the broadcaster has signed agreements with three new operators, Intercom, Peshkina and Komtehcentr. It has also strengthened in Ukraine, where 12 new carriage deals have been signed. In Slovakia, France 24 has partnered with Vares, Tes Media and Slovak Telecom, while a recent deal in the Czech Republic has been finalised with NejTV. The channel is also now being carried by Blizoo in Macedonia, Zelka in Hungary and Ucom in Armenia.
France 24 is available to 117 million European homes.
