Equestrian channel Horse & Country TV will launch in the Netherlands later this year.
A Benelux version of the channel that is dedicated to equestrian sports and lifestyle will debut on Caiway, Kabel Noord, Glashart Media, CAI Harderwijk and Kabeltex’s cable platforms on June 14. It will be subtitled in Dutch.
Heather Killen, executive chairman of Horse & Country TV, said: “Equestrian sports and the lifestyle that goes with them are enjoyed by millions of people around the world, and the sector has an economic footprint in excess of US$50 billion (€38 billion) a year. H&C TV aims to provide the key broadcast and digital outlets for the programming and personalities that chime with this attractive, upscale audience.”
