BT Wholesale, the wholesale arm of the UK incumbent telecom operator has chosen video quality assurance technology provider IneoQuest’s video service assurance solution to ensure the reliability and quality of experience of BT Wholesale’s new TV Connect service.
British Telecom is deploying IneoQuest’s full end-to-end video service assurance solution dedicated to providing a high quality video experience.
“IneoQuest’s Video Service Assurance solution is an essential part of the TV Connect deployment strategy,” said Phillip Radley, chief enterprise data architect at British Telecom. “The video analytics provided by IneoQuest allows us to get an in-depth view of our network, and find areas where problems are likely to occur and fix them before they become an issue or visible by the subscriber. This proactive approach ensures the best possible customer experience for TV Connect clients.”
BT Wholesale is deploying IneoQuest’s iVMS intelligent video management system, which, according to IneoQuest, gives a single view into the health status of their video services. IneoQuest is also providing BT Wholesale with the Expedus DVA, which the company says validates Quality of Service and Quality of Experience of video services before distributing nationwide throughout the network.
