Pace in TiVo partnership

Set-top vendor Pace has licensed software from timeshifting specialist TiVo to use in its set-tops and gateway devices.

Pace said it had licensed TiVo’s Hardware Porting Kit and will work with TiVo to build a TiVo-verified platform, with an initial product to be made available to cable operators in the Americas.

“The agreement will further enable operators around the world to quickly and cost-effectively deploy the TiVo consumer experience to a range of Pace devices,” Pace said in a statement.
