Vivacom boosts HD offering

Vivacom TV, the satellite pay TV service operated by the Bulgarian telecom operator of the same name, is increasing its high-definition service with the addition of factual channel Planeta HD.

The move means that Planeta HD is the third high definition station to launch on the service following Viasat Nature HD and Viasat History HD. Vivacom TV launched in September 2010 and offers over 70 channels across three basic packages.
