Analogue cable in Netherlands falls below two million

Digital cable in the Netherlands reached 3.338 million homes at the end of the third quarter of 2011, up from 3.176 million for the previous quarter, according to the latest figures from regulator OPTA.

Analogue-only cable homes numbered 1.888, million, down from 2.095 million. Total cable homes numbered 5.226 million, down from 5.271 million. Non-cable TV homes, including digital-terrestrial, digital satellite and IPTV homes, numbered 2.397 million, up from 2.319 million.
