Orion Express sets target of one million subs by August

Russian pay TV operator Orion Express has set a target of crossing the one million subscribers milestone by August, marketing director Maria Zilina, has told attendees to the CSTB conference in Moscow.

According to local reports, Orion Express currently has about 650,000 subscribers, up from 570,000 in December, and expects to attract at least 40,000 new customers a month. The operator plans to boost its offering with the addition of new HD channels in March.
