Cable operator Multimedia Polska has appointed JP Morgan to undertake a review of strategic options, including a possible sale of the Polish company.
Multimedia Polska said that the objective of the review was to evaluate all business areas in which the company was involved as well as the potential development of the TV and telecom business in Poland. It said that all options would be considered, including the maintenance of the existing ownership structure. The review is currently at a preliminary stage, the company said.
Multimedia Polska said it planned to continue investing in its development following its acquisition of the country’s seventh-placed cable operator, Krakow-based Stream Communications, for PLN141.25 million (€34 million), in November last year.
