Volia to expand HD footprint to 13 cities

Ukrainian pay TV operator Volia will launch HD services in 13 cities this year. The move will mean HD channels are available to almost all areas covered by Volia’s cable network.

Volia will launch HD services in Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Sevastopol, Lviv and Sumy in April, followed by Donetsk in May, Khmelnytsky, Kherson and Cherkasy in June and in Rovno, Zaporozhye, and Krivoy Rog by the end of the year.

Volia’s HD package includes National Geographic HD, Nat Geo Wild HD, Outdoor Channel HD, Travel Channel HD, MyZen.TV HD, Fashion One HD, Tonis HD and Football HD.
