DNA plans to expand availability of TV service

Finnish telco DNA’s digital-terrestrial network now reaches 70% of the country’s population, with the company planning to expand coverage to 100% by the end of this year.

DNA said demand for pay TV services “remained steady” in the fourth quarter. The company launched pay TV services on the terrestrial network in August.

DNA had 602,000 cable subscribers at the end of December, up 3,000 on the previous quarter. The company had 299,000 fixed broadband subscribers at the end of the year, up 5,000 on the previous quarter. DNA reported net sales of €727.5 million and EBITDA of €188.4 million for the full year.
