Rostov to get digital TV by end of year

Russia’s Rostov region will see the launch of digital-terrestrial TV by the end of this year, according to the regional government.

The region will begin broadcasting the first country-wide digital multiplex, comprising eight free-to-air national channels – Pervyĭ Kanal, Rossiya-1, Rossiya-2, Rossiya -24, Rossiya-K, Karuselʹ, St Peterburg’s Channel 5 and NTV – and one regional channel.
