Portugal has now completed digital switchover in 39 mainland districts covering 750,000 people, according to the local regulator, Anacom.
Anacom said that over 808,000 TVs compliant with the H.264 video standard were sold in Portugal last year, including 139,000 units in December, while in the same period about 426,000 digital-terrestrial decoders were sold.
