Canal Plus Group has named Cécilia Ragueneau as director-general of news channel i>Télé, replacing Pierre Fraidenraich and Ronan Autret as director of entertainment and magazine programming at Canal Plus. Both will report to Ara Aprikian, deputy CEO in charge of free TV at Canal Plus Group.
Ragueneau was previously deputy director-general of i>Télé, while Autret was deputy director-general in charge of entertainment and magazine shows at Canal Plus.
Separately, Canal Plus Events president Jean-Louis Dutaret has, at his own request, relinquished his overall role to focus on the development of marketing and business development of sports events, while former i>Télé director-general Fraidenraich has been named director of sports acquisitions. Both will report to Canal Plus France CEO Rodolphe Belmer.
