ITV scores £90 million soccer deal



ITV has inked a £90 million (€109 million) TV soccer rights deal that allows it to continue broadcasting the England national teams home matches and games from the FA Cup competition.

The UK commercial broadcaster already has those rights under a four-year deal, which it has now extended until 2014. UK reports suggest ITV paid 30% less per year than under the terms of the previous agreement, meaning an annual spend of about £45 million.
