Albertis sells Eutelsat stake

Albertis has sold a 16% stake it held in satellite operator Eutelsat.
The company sold the stake for €981 million. Albertis is left with a 15.35% stake in Eutelsat, meaning it remains the second largest shareholder.

Albertis said it would “continue to participate actively in the management of the company and support its development and growth strategy”, but added that the transaction provides more liquidity to the market value of Eutelsat.

Albertis acquired its stake in Eutelsat in 2006 in a deal valued at €1 billion.
