Lagardère Active snaps up online catch-up platform

French media group Lagardère Active has acquired online catch-up TV platform

Launched in April 2009, the site directs users to content from various broadcasters, including TF1, Canal Plus and Eurosport. The service has increased its audience share by almost 70% in 12 months and had nearly 1.7 million users in November 2011. Lagardère has had an editorial and marketing agreement in place between its own online service and since December.

A UK version of the site is currently in beta testing phase.
