SVT2 HD and MTVN HD to swap frequencies in Sweden

Swedish public broadcaster channel SVT2 HD is to swap digital-terrestrial frequencies with MTVN HD in order to be able to take advantage of new regional opt-outs.

Transmission services provider Teracom plans to launch a platform to enable regionalised advertising in February next year. MTVN HD and SVT2 HD will swap frequencies at the beginning of next month, enabling the latter to regionalise its offering.
