Dutch sports broadcaster Sport1 has renewed its deal to air the UEFA Champions League soccer tournament for the next three seasons.
The Chellomedia-owned broadcaster will air exclusive live coverage of the games as well as edited highlights on its portfolio of channels and online until 2015. It will also air the annual Supercup, a mini-tournament between the winners of the UEFA Champions League and the Europa League winners.
“Sport1 is committed to serving soccer fans with live coverage of sport’s top events from around the world. We are delighted to extend our relationship with UEFA,” said Will Moerer, general manager, Sport1.
