Car maker Volkswagen is using KIT Digital’s technology to deliver red-button interactive advertising.
Viewers will be able to press the red button and arrive to a “digital showroom” where they can view the new Volkswagen Beetle prototype. The interactive campaign will be available on HbbTV-based hybrid broadcast broadband TV and connected TV services.
Kaleil Isaza Tuzman, chairman and CEO, KIT Digital, said: “Volkswagen’s campaign is an excellent example of the future direction of television. Viewers can access commercial information that appeals to them through the seamless integration of broadcast television and the internet.’’
