Minimax, the kids channel operated by Liberty Global’s content division Chello, has launched in Slovenia after inking a carriage deal with Telekom Slovenije.
The IPTV platform rolled out the kids channel last week with content tailored to local viewers.
“We feel privileged that our relatively small market with a unique local language is getting the attention that is usually a benefit of large markets. Language is an important part of any culture and we are very happy we can entertain our children in a language they recognize,” said Irena Battelino, head of content acquisition at Telekom Slovenije.
