Al Jazeera launches in the Balkans today

Al Jazeera’s news service for the Balkans rolls out today. From 18:00 local time today, the channel will be beamed to homes in the region via Eutelsat’s WC3 satellite at 16° East, reaching both cable and DTH homes.

Al Jazeera Balkans will carry news, documentaries and current affairs programming and will be based in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina and supported by regional news studios in Zagreb, Belgrade and Skopje.
