German cable operator Kabel Deutschland (KDG) has extended high-speed internet to a further 740,000 households, giving them access to 100Mbps services.
KDG has upgraded its networks to provide high-speed access to over 100 small and medium-sized communities in Bavaria, Lower Saxony, Rhineland-Pfalz and Schleswig-Holstein, taking the total numbers of homes passed by high-speed services in its German footprint to about 8.3 million.
