Zon launches online platform

Portuguese cable operator Zon Multimedia is launching an online TV service offering linear and on-demand viewing on broadband connected PCs. The service will also roll out to iPads soon.

Zon Online will offer 33 channels and approximately 1,000 VOD titles at launch. The service will also enable customers to schedule DVR recordings, view the EPG and search for content.

The platform is free to all Zon Iris customers.
