Channel 4’s 4oD views continue to rise

Channel 4’s on-demand viewing figures continued to rise in September, with 33 million long form VOD views requested across all platforms during the month, an increase on the 31 million views recorded in August.

Up to the end of September, long form VOD views numbered 308 million for the year-to-date, up 19.3% year-on-year.
4oD on Channel4.com, the main 4oD platform, attracted 3.9 million average monthly unique viewers, an increase of 300,000 on the August total.

The UK broadcaster’s monthly report on 4oD viewing shows that teen drama Hollyoaks was the most viewed series in September, attracting 2.3 million views. It was followed by comedy series The Inbetweeners, which notched up 1.6 million views for season 1 during the month.
