Eros sells Bollywood fare to Middle East
Bollywood producer and distributor Eros has inked a video-on-demand deal and content deals with a trio of Middle Eastern pay TV services.
Qatar Telecom has taken a package of 300 Eros-distributed Bollywood film titles and related Bollywood content will make them available on its QTEL VOD and subscription VOD service. Middle Eastern IPTV service Intigral has acquired a package of 100 new and library films from Eros and will launch them on its VOD, SVOD and download to own and download to rent services.
Meanwhile, Etisalat has inked a deal with Eros and will take five of its movies a month for the next three years for its IPTV service
