German pay TV operator Sky Deutschland has agreed a new movie deal with German studio Tele München Group (TMG).
The deal expands an existing agreement between the two and gives the News Corp-backed pay TV operator rights to make TMG movies available on its on-demand Sky Anytime service and Sky Go, its OTT service that allows subs to access content online and via mobile tablets and devices.
The agreement covers 2011 and 2012 titles and movies in the package include: The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1, Almanya – Willkommen in Deutschland and upcoming movies The Iron Lady and Haywire.
