Russian broadcaster STS Media is launching an online portal for its female skewing channel Domashny.
The online service will target women aimed 25-45 and will offer exclusive video content as well as a catch up service consisting of Domashny’s extensive program library.
The network, which was launched in March 2005, airs a mix of local talk shows, Hollywood movies and television imports including The Good Wife, Desperate Housewives, House and ER.
Natalia Bilan, head of the Domashny Channel, said: “The site’s combined abilities as well as the level of interaction and access it provides to Domashny’s library and content produced specifically for the portal makes this a very exciting project and we believe it has a big future.”
