Focus Sat adds HD and premium movie package

Romanian DTH operator Focus Sat has added three HD channels and a new movie package to its line-up.

The UPC-owned company is launching an HD service consisting initially of Discovery HD, ESPN HD and Sundance HD America. It is available at no extra cost to Familia package subscribers until the end of the year. The operator said it would add four new channels in January. Focus Sat is also adding GSP TV, Fishing and Hunting, SkyNews and Bloomberg to the Familia package.

In addition, the operator has added the FilmBox package of channels, which includes the FilmBox Family and FilmBox Extra 1 channels to its line-up and is available at no additional cost to all Focus Sat subscriber until 31 December. From next year it will cost RON11 (€2.50) per month.
