Motive Television, the hybrid TV technology company backed by former Central European Media Enterprises (CME) CEO Len Fertig, has signed a letter of intent with CME that could see it roll its technology out with CME in central Europe.
CME conducted a trial of Motive’s Television Anytime Anywhere technology last year. The letter of intent outlines the project phases whereby detailed specifications for the Motive technology would be developed for potential rollout in CME’s markets.
Television Anytime allows digital-terrestrial or satellite channel providers to distribute on-demand services via a push/datacast system, while TV Anywhere provides for distribution of content to multiple screens in individual homes via a ‘home cloud’ architecture.
