Yahoo pulls out of Hulu bidding

Online giant Yahoo has withdrawn from the bidding for Hulu.

The online video company is being sold by owners Disney, News Corp, Comcast and private equity firm Providence and the field of suitors has narrowed since they put it on the block earlier this year.

Amazon and Google are still in for Hulu as is US pay TV platform operator Dish. Bids from the remaining interested parties reportedly start at US$1.5 billion (€1.1 billion) and reach over US$2 billion, depending upon the structure of the deal.
