Irish operator Magnet Networks has launched an online television service that will air a raft of local and international channels.
The company, which previously had an IPTV service, has launched Aertv.ie, a registration free digital streaming platform.
It will air TV channels including RTÉ One, RTÉ Two, TV3, TG4 as well as international news networks France 24 and Russia Today. The service will also include Magnet’s own AerTV Music station, which will air videos and live concerts from a range of artists.
The service is being run by former TV3 executive Philippe Brodeur, who will report to Magnet Networks chairman Ken Peterson.
