Polish cable operator UPC has extended its VOD platform to the cities of Lublin, Wałbrzych and Chełmno.
The VOD platform offers over 2,000 movies and programmes, including around 60 HD movies, as well as VOD channels from TVP, TVN, Discovery, FilmBox, National Geographic, HBO. Sundance, Disney and Cartoon Network.
UPC has also added the city of Bydgoszcz to its high-speed broadband network. Subscribers in the northern city can access broadband speeds of up to 150Mbps. The cable operator’s EuroDOCSIS 3.0 network now reaches over 1.5 million housholds.
