African pay TV platform Zuku has added the English version of news channel Euronews to its line-up.
Zuku DTH is currently available in Kenya, where it has 10,000 subscribers. It will launch in Uganda later this month and in Tanzania in November, where Zuku operator Wanachi is predicting 50,000 subscribers by the end of 2011.
Across sub-Saharan Africa, Euronews is broadcast to 20 million homes via satellite, cable, terrestrial and IPTV platforms.
