Digital TV audio specialist DTS has announced a partnership with Adobe to deliver its surround sound solutions to connected TVs and Blu-ray players powered by Adobe Air 3.
Adobe Air 3 is the latest version of Air that enabled Flash-based applications with HD video and up to 7.1 channels of DTS surround sound.
Brian Towne, executive vice-president and chief operating officer at DTS, said: “Our partnership with Adobe further illustrates our strong commitment to creating high quality audio experiences for consumers across any and every connected device. With Air 3, consumers will be able to enjoy their favourite Flash-based applications with uncompromised audio quality.”
