Luxembourg-based M7 Group has acquired Czech and Slovak satellite pay TV provider Skylink, according to local reports.
M7 Group, which acquired rival service CS Link earlier this year and also owns Dutch service Canal Digitaal, Flemish service TV Vlaanderen and Wallonia operator Télé Sat, may have paid around CZK2 billion (€80 million) for Skylink, owned by local investment group J&T, according to the parabola.cz website.
The acquisition gives M7 Group a total footprint of around two million homes across the two countries, with the majority of viewers taking free-to-air offerings.
