Nickelodeon promotes Coolman

Nickelodeon has promoted Victor Coolman to director of programming and acquisitions for its German, Swiss and Austrian networks.

Coolman will now head programming for Nickelodeon North, which also includes Benelux and Scandinavia. In addition to this role, Coolman, who has been with the international kids company for six years, is in charge of Nick Jr. Global, the channel that has launched across 17 countries.

He reports to Patrick Alders, senior vice president, Nickelodeon North.
”I am very happy to have Victor taking over more and very important functions in developing our programming and acquisitions at Nickelodeon North. He started over six years ago at MTV Networks and through his recent roles in our company he is a definite Nickelodeon aficionado, the most proper assignment for this position,” said Alders.
