SeaChange to provide Horizon VOD solutions

SeaChange International has confirmed that it has been selected by Liberty Global to provide its Adrenaline multi-screen video back office and client publishing solutions for the cable operator’s Horizon next generation platform.

SeaChange’s Adrenalin video back office is being deployed to automate Horizon’s on-demand TV platform. SeaChange already provides various software solutions for Liberty Global systems in Europe, including UPC Netherlands, UPC Cablecom and UPC Poland.

SeaChange had already been confirmed as a Horizon partner after Liberty Global recently selected SeaChange for a 2011 Vendor Award for Best Innovation/Breakthrough Supplier as part of a group of eleven partners who jointly contributed to the development of Horizon.
