HBO names legal head for CEO

HBO Central Europe has appointed Gordon Finlayson as general counsel.

Finlayson, who was previously head of legal at Middle Eastern pay TV operator Showtime Arabia and OSN, will lead legal operations at the company’s operations in fourteen countries in central and eastern Europe. He will be based in Budapest, Hungary and will report to chief executive Linda Jensen.

“l look forward to working with Gordon Finlayson following his appointment as General Counsel; his knowledge and international experience will be invaluable to HBO Central Europe as we continue to grow and expand into new territories,” said Jensen.
