Digital penetration continues to grow in Hungary

Hungary ended July with 1.554 million digital TV subscribers, a rise of 14,000 from June.

Satellite was the most popular form of digital reception with approximately 900,000 households taking digital DTH services. Cable and IPTV networks accounted for approximately 630,000 digital households.

Figures from regulator NHH show that from a total of 3.8 million Hungarian households, a total of 3.2 million took some form of TV subscription.
