Bahrain getting new IPTV service

A new IPTV service is launching in the Gulf state of Bahrain.

The island state’s main telco, Batelco, said it will launch the service soon with a mix of free-to-air and premium content including pay TV channels from regional pay TV platform operator Orbit Showtime pay TV.

There will also be a 200-title video-on-demand service offering movies, series and documentary programming.
