Online video specialist Blinkx-owned Burst Media is launching four UK online channels targeting “gamers, mums, petrol heads and fashionistas on the web”, the company has said.
Burst has launched a set of video and social advertising products for advertisers to accompany the channel launch, including Twitter parties, sponsored blog posts, and custom video widgets.
Blinkx will embed relevant videos and video channels into Burst Media’s network of publisher sites.
The MumIQ channel is geared towards 25-54 year-old women with children at home; Ignition is targeted at automotive consumers; Ella is aimed at young women aged 18-34; and Giant Realm is targeted at males interested in gaming, entertainment and lifestyle content.
