Set-top vendor ADB is delivering hybrid DVRs to Nordic pay TV operator Canal Digital.
Canal Digital is launching an “enhanced consumer TV experience” using ADB-5720SX DVRs, pre-integrated with ADB’s Carbo user interface.
“Canal Digital is a leading operator in the Nordic countries, renowned for high quality services,” said Krzysztof Bilinski, ADB’s executive vice-president. “It has high standards for the viewer experience that it delivers. I am confident that subscribers will enjoy an enhanced user experience as they access consumer TV, and over the top (OTT) services that are seamlessly integrated on the three-way hybrid ADB-5720SX platform.”
ADB said the solution offers fast channel change, clear multi-layer menu for users to quickly reach their desired application using an intuitive carrousel of icons. The ADB-5720SX three-way hybrid digital TV platform has been designed to make it easy and cost effective to add new interactive services or internet applications.
