Liberty Global chooses KIT Digital for Horizon streaming service

Liberty Global has chosen online TV specialist  KIT Digital to design, build and host the platform to drive its new Horizon  IP-based video-on-demand and live streaming service.

The Horizon online service will see the creation of an platform  that provides a single multi-lingual, multi-tenant, and multi-currency platform that can be rolled out across all the operator’s  worldwide subsidiaries, according to KIT Digital.

The service will initially be available to subscribers in the Netherlands and then rolled out to other countries in Liberty Global’s footprint.
