The Food Network has launched in Ireland after the Scripps Network Interactive-run broadcaster struck a deal with cable operator UPC Ireland.
The channel will be available to all of UPC’s digital subscribers and will air series including Chopped, Barefoot Contessa, Diners, Drive-ins and Dives and 30 Minute Meals.
“We’re really pleased to add UPC Ireland to Food Network’s growing worldwide distribution. With this launch, the channel is fast becoming the key international destination for lifestyle entertainment,” said Nick Thorogood, managing director, Food Network, EMEA.
