Digiturk to deliver VOD services with Motive technology

Turkish pay TV operator Digiturk is using hybrid technology provider Motive’s Television Anytime on-demand TV software.

Set-tops supplied by Sagemcom, which signed a deal with Motive to include its technology in its boxes last year, will deliver services that could include auto-recording, push-VOD over satellite and IP, and pull VOD. Field trials with first batch of set-tops are planned for the autumn, with a commercial launch planned for the end of this year.
