TechniSat to demo new set-top and connected TV range

Set-top vendor TechniSat will demonstrate several new products at IBC, including the ISIO range of DVB/IP hybrid set-tops, a DVB-T2 receiver customised for Freeview HD in the UK, and a Boxer TV approved OEM set-top box for the Scandinavian market, which will be supplied exclusively to Triax. It will also highlight a new low cost DVB-T HD set-top box and its latest router product called TechniSelect 12.  

The MultyVision ISIO IDTVs feature eLED technology and offer features including DVR and multimedia playback from external storage and networked PCs. The IP functionality provides UPnP/DLNA connectivity, HbbTV compatibility, and widget support. TechniSat is also offering two variants of DVB-T2 set-top boxes, the HDFV receiver prepared for HDTV with Freeview UK.

The Boxer TV approved set-top box has Viaccess CAS embedded. Supporting Dolby Digital Plus and AAC, it is ready for the Scandinavian market and is equipped with various connections, including HDMI, USB 2.0, scart-connector, RF in and out as well as 12 V DC power supply.

HD T1 is a digital receiver for HDTV reception of with MPEG-4 via terrestrial antenna. Due to the USB 2.0 interface, recording to an external storage device including a USB stick or an external hard drive is possible to enable time-shifted TV.
